A 2014 Micro Machines game in all but name, Toybox Turbos has been delisted from digital storefronts. It’s one of six titles developed or published by EA or Codemasters which were removed at the same time, with no official warning or statement released before they disapeared.
Developed by Codemasters for the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 between Micro Machines V4 in 2006 and Micro Machines World Series in 2017, Toybox Turbos was a decent, if not spectacular title, which included 18 circuits and 35 vehicles, with local and online multiplayer.

If you want the game preserved, it’s included in the GoG Dreamlist, where you can vote on titles you’d like to see the service offer in the future. Unfortunately a physical edition was never produced, so without the digital version being available, it’s currently impossible to purchase.
While this is a fairly niche case, it’s going to become more common that games primarily or online exist as digital products. And if they’re delisted, there’s no way to not only buy them if you want to relive old memories, but also to maintain a history and archive of videogames. And without an official statement, presumably, the online portion of Toybox Turbos no longer functions, which may have been the reason for the delisting rather than the licensing agreements that impact series like Forza.
Given that the Micro Machines series began back in 1991 for the NES, there are bound to be people who want to have ongoing access to all the titles in the series, along with the related spin-offs like Toybox Turbos.
Steam was the last storefront to have Toybox Turbos removed on March 14th, 2025, as it had already been delisted for the PS3 and Xbox One back in October 30th, 2021, and the Xbox 360 back in October 2022.
