As the new season is about to begin in the real world with the Grand Prix Of Thailand, a new trailer and announcement have announced that MotoGP 25 launches on April 30th 2025 with Flat Track, Minibikes and Motards being added to help riders improve their skills, a new arcade experience, and circuits including Brno and the new Balaton Park in Hungary.

Obviously as the officially-licensed MotoGP game developed by Milestone, it will have all the bikes, riders and liveries for the coming season. Which mean Marc Marquez riding for Ducati alongside Francesco Bagnaia, the debut of Fermin Aldeguer for Gresini, Jorge Martin at Aprilia, Miguel OLiveira and Jack Miller on Pramac Yamahas among the other changes for the coming season.
As in the real world, the legendary Brno circuit returns to the calendar for 2025, which has a history dating back to a road circuit in the 1930s, and has been home to the Motorcycle Grand Prix of the Czech Republic since 1965. It’s been entirely surfaced and had major updates to the infrastructure for the return to MotoGP. And it’s joined by the new Balaton Park track in Hungary, which opened in May 2023 with a 2.557 mile (4.115km) layout built to FIA Grade 1 standards. It will be used first by the World Superbike championship in July, followed by MotoGP in August with some changes designed by Loris Capirossi to better suit motorcycle races.

But probably the biggest change is that you’ll be able to ride some different types of motorcycles in the brand new Training Sessions, which allow you to take on dedicated challenges riding Motard, Flat Track and Minibikes on original tracks. It replicates the real training MotoGP riders often incorporate, although hopefully without the potential for injuries impacting your virtual season.
And it’s a handy way for Milestone to use their experience not only developing the MotoGP games over the last 20 years, but also the Ride, MXGP and Supercross series.

Milestone are also adding a new Arcade Experience with a simplified and more accessible option for racing, and updated bike sounds from live recording sessions of the original bikes. While the Riders Market and FIM MotoGP Stewards return after debuting in MotoGP 24, a new Bike Development System will also give you more control over how your motorcycles evolve during the course of a season. And you’ll be able to use the game editors to customise your rider, including their helmet, racing number, butt patch, stickers and new podium emotes.
Online multiplayer will include full cross-play for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S players, along with the LiveGP Championship, monthly seasons with dedicated events and leaderboards which were introduced in the previous game. But you’ll also get new ranked races to try and put you against riders at a similar skill level, along with the return of two-player local split-screen, which is always welcome.
