As teased a few days ago, Gran Turismo 7 Update 1.56 is released with three new cars, along with fresh events and GT Sophy AI now available on two more tracks.
It turns out that other people have better eyesight than me, as the classic hot hatchback now available is indeed a 1988 Peugeot 205 GTI, rather than my guess of an early Golf. But at least the 1962 Mercedes-Benz Unimog Type 411 and the 2003 BMW Z4 3.0i were more recognisable in the initial image.

Along with the cars, a new Peugeot Collection is available at the Cafe if you own the 1988 GTI, the Peugeot 205 Turbo 16 Evolution 2 ’86, and the Peugeot 908 HDi FAP ’10. There are also some new single player World Circuit events, and GT Sophy can now work at Autodromo Nazionale Monza and Sardegna Road Track – B.
A new collection of scenes useful for panning shots are being featured in Scapes, which should help you capture some new action images. And there are six new engine swaps, including ditching the diesel from the Mazda Demio XD Touring, and putting a V8 into a Suzuki Swift Sport.
