After initial updates were mainly focused on initial Early Access issues, Assetto Corsa EVO Update 1.6 brings content and fixes, with the promised Fuji Speedway, Lancia Delta HF Integrale EVO II and Lamborghini Huracan STO now available in game.
If you haven’t seen our earlier article on the new cars and track, then it’s worth checking out for details on each. New special events are also included, but it’s the fixes that were only revealed when Update 1.6 became available.
General improvements to AI behaviour and paths suggests Kunos Simulazioni are well aware of early criticisms that the computer-controlled opponents feel more like obstacles than competitive racers. And there are also some graphic updates and VRAM optimisation which might help performance considering the listed minimum specs are a GTX 1070 or RX580 graphics card, and the recommended minimum is an RTX 2070.
