The follow-on from the MudRunner and SnowRunner titles is due for release on May 20th, 2025, and there’s a new RoadCraft gameplay overview trailer to add more details on what you’ll be able to do in the game.
Once again it’s developed by Saber Interactive and published by Focus Entertainment. This time you’ll be using an even wider range of trucks and specialist vehicles to restore sites devastated by natural disasters. And RoadCraft will use a brand new engine developed by Saber to allow you to handle objects and interact with different elements like sand and wood more realistically in real-time. Allowing you to do things like build roads to cross rivers, and potentially come up with different potential solutions to each challenge.
Shown in the video is the ability to dump tons of sand and dirt to bridge gaps, which means you can create your own routes and roads in each terrain.

One interesting new feature is that you may need multiple vehicles from your disaster recovery company to transport cargo, perform jobs etc, and you can now automate convoys with precision waypointing, and co-ordinating the tasks and processes to make things as efficient as possible. Which means each specialist vehicle can be used for specific tasks, rather than ending up mostly using one truck to do everything, as often happened in previous games.
The other option is multiplayer for up to four people, as you use bulldozers to clear debris, cranes to move resources into position, and even use more specialised equipment like a cable layer or mobile quarry.
At launch there will be eight unique maps, each measuring 4 km² and based in different parts of the world, meaning that one may involve forests and mountains, but another will mean tackling sand dunes. And you’ll also have the choice of more than 40 vehicles as you earn money to expand your fleet.
If you pre-order any edition of RoadCraft, you’ll receive the Aramatsu Bowhead 30T DLC for free, which is a tracked heavy dump truck able to transport up to 30 tons of sand with a 360-degree rotating base. And along with the Standard Edition for £34.99, there’s also a Rebuild Edition at £44.99 which will include the Invictus Type A scout vehicle, and the Rebuild Expansion to be released after the launch date with 2 more maps featruing new contracts, activities and vehicles.
You can find RoadCraft to wishlist or pre-order for the PC on Steam, the Xbox Series X|S on the Microsoft Store, and the PS5 on the PlayStation Store. And keep up with the latest news, updates and more both before and after RoadCraft launches, here.
