EA Sports WRC Update 2.2.0 Extends The Rally Pass

Along with the release of the Le Maestros Content Pack paid DLC, the EA Sports WRC Update 2.2.0 extends the Rally Pass, refreshes the Livery Select interface, and adds new player nationalities to the official rally racing game.

We’ve previously covered the Le Maestros pack, which celebrates French success in the World Rally Championship. Something that’s now apparent is that while the DLC includes many of the cars and liveries used by Sebastien Loeb are included, his name is not due to the inclusion of drivers relying on individual agreements rather than the official WRC license.

But even if you’re not buying the new content, EA Sports WRC Update 2.2.0 does increase the Rally Pass level cap from 50 to 60, with 20 new livery editor decals as rewards, and a rebalanced XP and level rate. The new Livery Select interface should make it quicker and easier to pick the right paint scheme for cars with a large choice available, and the driver country selection now includes 80 more options, so you can represent your nation in-game and on the leaderboards, whether you’re from Andorra, Chad or Zimbabwe.

One known issue is also highlighted and expected to be fixed in the next update, which is that Quick Play Multiplayer lobbies are currently limited to 20 players instead of the usual 32.
