The Argentinian racing sim continues to evolve as the free PISTA Motorsport Update v.0.6.5.0 adds a car and track, along with a photo mode for replays so you can share your best moments.
As previously mentioned, the circuit is the Autodromo de Concepcion del Uruguay, located in Argentina and named for the river of the same name. But we didn’t know that the update would also add a new car, in the shape of the GTS Camry Gen 3.
The Toyota Camry has been racing in the Turismo Carretera, a popular stock car series in Argentina which claims to be the oldest championship still active in the world, running since 1937. Other cars in the series include the Chevrolet Camaro, Dodge Challenger and Ford Mustang. And they’re all using rear wheel drive, straight six engines, and just under 500bhp.
For PISTA Motorsport, the car model has been developed by APVS Labs, who have previously been a professional mod team for Assetto Corsa focusing on cars and circuits from South America.
If that’s not enough, the update also adds a photo mode to replays, which should make sharing cars and tracks a little easier.
