Launched at the end of last year as a minimalist F1 management game from Funselektor and Strelka Games, a new Golden Lap update overhauls team building, makes the AI more competitive and fixes various issues.
The biggest changes are to the Team Member Market, as teams will now be able to choose people in order of the current leaderboard, and you can now retain team members from a previous season at the start of the next. Which could make building up a low-level F1 squad that little bit trickier, but also means you can build your motorsport empire over the long term.
Another difference is that AI drivers will now push and use most of their fuel in an attempt to win, there are improvements to localisation and modding, and various bugs have now been solved.
