The South American racing sim currently in Early Access expands the circuits available, as PISTA Motorsport will add a new Argentinian track for free with an update due out soon.
The confusingly named Autodromo de Concepcion del Uruguay is a 2.659 mile track located near the city of the same name (named for the Uruguay River), and is one of three national category circuits located in the Province of Entre Rios, alongside Parana and Concordia. It was built in 2014, and hosts series including touring cars, F4 and more.
It joins the five existing circuits already in the sim, which are Rosario, La Plata, San Nicolos, Rafaela, and Termas de Rio Hondo. A recent roadmap for development outlines a number of new tracks planned for 2025 and beyond, along with online racing, a career mode and more.
PISTA Motorsport is developed by REG Simulations, and launched on Steam Early Access in August 2024. Currently it includes test day and time attack modes, if you want to learn some new circuits in Argentina or try out the selection of cars currently available. Or if you want to pick it up before the current price increases for the full release, currently planned for 2026.
