The modding scene for Assetto Corsa shows no signs of slowing down in the run up to Assetto Corsa Evo, as RaceSim Studio release four new Formula cars for AC.
There are two open wheel prototypes based on the team’s interpretation of the ever-changing 2026 Formula One regulations. The Formula Hybrid X 2026 features a hybrid system with 532hp from the internal combustion engine, and up to 470hp from the electric motor. Meanwhile the Formula Hybrid V12-R uses the same chassis, but with a naturally aspirated 900hp V12 engine and a KERS system.
They’re currently available in a pack for use with Assetto Corsa for £4.49.
The existing Formula Hybrid 2023 gets enhanced and updated with improvements to the sound, physics and visuals for the Formula Hybrid 2024, with both cars in a pack for £4.19 (currently reduced for Black Friday to £2.09). If you already owned the 2023 version, you get the updated car for free, along with defailted RSS liveries (22 for the 2023 car and 8 nostalgic choices for the 2024 car).
And there’s also the Formula RSS 2 V6 2024 with balanced performance for a lower tier Formula racing class, which costs £4.19.
All the cars feature the Gomez Sim Industries Hyper P1 steering wheel in their models, and are available in the Formula Hybrid League Pack ’24 edition bundle for £16.64 (currently down to £7.99). It also includes the Formula RSS 4 2024. You’re also able to download the templates for all the cars to be able to create your own liveries using the PSD in-game.
You’ll also need a copy of the Assetto Corsa sim (available via Steam). And if you need to know how to install modded content, check our guide on installing mods for Assetto Corsa, here. Along with all the latest news, updates, mods and esports for Assetto Corsa, here.
