Not to be confused with the Hot Wheels Unleashed series, Hot Wheels Monster Trucks: Stunt Mayhem launches for PC and consoles as a distinct title developed by 3D Clouds and published by GameMill.
It offers you the chance to jump into the 20 licensed Hot Wheels Monster Trucks, including Bone Shaker, Tiger Shark, Race Ace and Bigfoot for either solo play or local multiplayer arena showdowns, with a focus on performing epic stunts to build combo chains. That’s also how you win boss fights and complete career challenges.
Aimed at younger gamers, it still seems slightly strange that it’s developed by 3D Clouds, considering Milestone have released both Hot Wheels Unleashed, and Monster Jam Showdown. 3D Clouds have previously released games including Paw Patrol: Grand Prix and Fast & Furious: Spy Racer Rise of SH1FT3R.
“Hot Wheels fuels the competitive spirit in every kid, inspiring them to reach their full potential. The challenger ethos truly shines in Hot Wheels Monster Trucks: Stunt Mayhem,” said Erika Winterholler, Head of Business Development, Digital Gaming at Mattel. “We’re fortunate to partner with the incredible team at GameMill to deliver a turbocharged game, and we can’t wait for fans and newcomers to dive in today and experience the action-packed thrills while immersing themselves in the Hot Wheels universe.”
Hot Wheels Monster Trucks: Stunt Mayhem is available in a Standard Edition for £34.99 or, the Deluxe Edition for £39.99 which includes the Treasure Hunt Pack DLC, adding the Shuttle Monster Truck, 3 special cosmetic skins and an exclusive menu soundtrack.
