It’s the perfect time to try the KW Studios sim racing title, or to test any DLC content you’re interested in, with a RaceRoom Free Access weekend and 2024 Summer Sale starting very soon.
While it’s always free to play RaceRoom with a limited number of cars and circuits, and you can test drive new cars at any time, from June 20th until 23rd, 2024, all DLC content will be accessible to everyone for nothing. Which means you can drive paid circuits, and race whatever combinations are available.
The selection includes the recently released BMW Pack 2024, Circuit de PauVille, the Formula RaceRoom X-22 and more. And with more than 200 cars and 50 circuits, there are lots of interesting combinations you can try out. Personally, I’d recommend trying out some of the classic racing cars available, with examples like the Chevrolet Dekon Monza and Nissan Silvia Turbo in the Group 5 class, or the trio of GTO Classics.
RaceRoom also has some circuits which don’t often get officially replicated in sim racing, including the likes of Bilster Berg, Circuit de Charade (Clermont-Ferrand), Mantorp Park, Zhejiang and Zhuhai. So it’s a good time to drive somewhere different and see if it’s a circuit you might end up falling in love with.
Once the free weekend ends on June 23rd, 2024, you’ll lose access to any DLC content which you haven’t purchased. But if you decide to invest, then you can save up to 50% on DLC from June 24th until July 7th in the 2024 RaceRoom Summer Sale.
Having invested in the Premium Pack a couple of years ago, the best way to do this in the past was to buy the RaceRoom Virtual Race Points (vRP) in-game currency first, and then use it to purchase any discounted DLC. And along with individual cars and circuits, it’s always worth checking out the various packs to see if a bundle makes more sense. The Premium Pack includes everything except the Ferrari 296 GT3, which current means 235 cars, 56 tracks with 136 layouts, and 2445 liveries.
You can download Raceroom Racing Experience on the PC for free via Steam. Some additional content is available via Steam, but everything can be purchased via the official game store.
