While it’s already available through the Xbox Insider Program, more people will be able to try the 60-player kart battle royale racing game soon. Stampede: Racing Royale will be available in Summer 2024 via Xbox Game Preview for the Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, and for the PC via Steam Early Access.
Developed by Sumo Digital and published by Secret Mode, Stampede: Racing Royale has been available to a select number of playtesters since Summer 2023, and was originally planned for Early Access in the same year. But now it will finally be available to more racers.

The game pits 60 players against each other across three-round eliminator events culminating in a high-stakes finale to crown one winner. There are different modes, such as Stampede Races for classic karting action, and Stampede Battles in power-up packed arenas, with new vehicles and kart or character customisation options to unlock through seasons, events, and challenges, as you earn XP.

So it’s very much a party kart game with all the modern trappings of battle royales, but racing against a field of 60 other drivers should offer plenty of opportunity for chaos and excitement. Especially if you’re in a party with a group of friends.
You can currently access Stampede: Racing Royale for the Xbox Series X|S or PC via the Xbox Insider Progam, although it’s capped to a maximum of 50,000 downloads after becoming available on February 15th, 2024.
When it launches in Early Access/Game Preview this summer, Stampede: Racing Royale will be available for the PC via Steam, where you can currently wishlist it. And for the Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One via the Microsoft Store.
