The biggest change with the release of MX vs ATV Patch 3.03 is the introduction of a Caster mode which can let you join as a spectator to commentate on races, with up to three people broadcasting from each online sessions.
Along with some tweaks to the Spectator camera, it should make recording and sharing MX vs ATV Legends content much easier.

Gameplay
- Introducing Caster Mode! Join a friend’s squad as a permanent spectator to commentate on Races, record freestyle in Free Ride, and so much more. An online session can support up to 3 casters. Enable Caster Mode in Gameplay Settings.
- The Spectator camera now cycles through riders based on their position in the race.
- Added Spectator camera quick jump controls. When using a keyboard, Spectators can jump to a rider in any position by pressing the number key for that position; holding shift when pressing the number key to access positions greater than 10. Press 1 for position 1, press 0 for position 10, and press Shift+6 for position 16.
DLC
- Owners of the 2023 Husqvarna pack DLC will also gain access to the 2024 stock graphic kit, Rockstar Husqvarna graphic kit, and Seven Vox Rockstar Husqvarna team jersey and pants.
- Owners of the 2023 Yamaha pack DLC will also gain access to the 2024 stock graphic kit, Star Racing Yamaha graphic kit, and Thor Prime Jazz Star Racing Yamaha team jersey and pants.
- Owners of the 2023 Yamaha pack DLC will also get the 50th Anniversary graphics and parts, 50th Anniversary Star Racing Yamaha graphic kit, and 50th Anniversary Star Racing Yamaha team jersey and pants.

Customization
- AlpineStars Supertech Ward jersey and pants have been added to the locker and are available in Yellow, Red Berry, and Custom colors.
- The FastHouse Flying design is now available for the Bell Moto 9S Flex helmet in Black and Custom colors.
- A new color customizable variant of the FXR Pilot goggles are now available in the Locker.
UI
- Overhauled the Online Player list and Squad Management menus. Increased the visibility of the player names in the lists and added icons to indicate a player’s status as a Rider, Spectator, or Caster.
Updated split time lap widget seen when crossing the finish. Split times are now more accurate during online and offline races, and splits for riders more than one lap behind the leader will now display the number of laps they are behind. - <PC> The game now displays PlayStation button icons when using a PlayStation controller.
Fixes & Improvements
Physics
- Adjusted the suspension bottom-out decompression to allow MX and ATV suspensions to absorb more impact, reduce rebound, and smooth bottom-out response.
- Raised wreck thresholds for Front-Wheel and Rear-Wheel Landing wrecks to prevent wrecking in some landings and reduce wrecks in whoops.
- Adjusted ATV Stiff Suspension tuning parts make hard landing wrecks and near-wrecks less likely.
- Changed the way deformation occurs when cornering to create smoother and more natural berming.
UI
- Fixed navigation bugs in the Players and Squad Management list menus, and fixed bugs causing players to be missing from either list.
- Fixed a bug causing the same player to appear in the Lap Split Time List multiple times.
- Added animations and updated the appearance of the Personal Results in the post-race menus.
- Freeride Bests HUD is now hidden when HUD Visibility is set to Hidden.
DLC
- Adjusted 2024 San Diego track to reduce track cutting.
Customization - Improved appearance of number plate areas and reduced the appearance of outlines around the number plates.
- Fixed placement of ProTaper Evo handlebar on Honda CRF250R.
- Fixed missing stock KTM handlebar on 2021 KTM 250SX.
- Adjusted color of silver WP suspension to make forks actually appear silver.
- Made an attempted fix for some players experiencing a missing color on the Renthal Half Waffle Custom grips.
Online
- When a player completes a lap, their lap time is now validated against server lap time.
- Improved location and position tracking during races. This can cause a small delay to position updates in the HUD, especially when racing is tight and position changes are frequent.
Animation
- Smoothed out transitions between animation states for some stunt animations.
- Reduced the exaggeration of some wreck animations so that they transition more smoothly and throw the rider less awkwardly in most wreck conditions.
- Fixed issue preventing AI Riders from standing up while racing.
Other
- Fixed a potential crash in Time Trial when beating the best time while a ghost was active.
- Implemented a fix for players experiencing stalled career progress after completing all secondary tutorials.
Known Issues
Gameplay
- Frame rates exceeding 60 FPS may experience visual errors and inconsistent gameplay behaviors, especially when exceeding 120 FPS.
Online
- Custom cameras and custom camera controls are not functional when spectating Online.
