When your game lets sim racers ride anything from a scooter to a MotoGP bike, it can be tricky to ensure competitive online racing and time attack leaderboards. So TrackDayR Update 1.0.106.27 adds a bike class system to ensure a more level playing field.
Called the TrackDayR Performance Score (TPS), it uses power, torque, grip and tyre load, aerodynamics, engine friction and inertia, and the power-to-weight ratio to calculate a rating for each scooter and motorcycle. Which allows for individual scores and classes to group competitive machines together.
As a result, the current leaderboards will be cleared, so you’ll need to repost your best times.
Other notable changes include being able to save your first person camera settings and apply them to individual bikes or anything you ride, a new layout for the Sierra Kart track which removes the jumps and off-road terrain, and a remastering of the Andes MX circuit.
Smaller tweaks include fixing some lap-cutting and balance management, max fps limit settings, and various animation tweaks, along with the indtroduction of crashes for front flips. So now there’s a new way for me to mess up.
