The third in a trio of paid content cars from the Japanese manufacturer, the DRIFTCE Toyota Supra Mk5 DLC is now available, joining the already released Supra MK4 and Chaser JZX100.
Fans of drifting and JDM cars will already be pretty familiar with each model, and the Mk4 Supra famously appeared in The Fast and the Furious. So why would you pick the fifth generation model launched in 2019? Well, it comes as part of the Gazoo Racing (GR) range, developed in partnership with BMW, and is the first car to carry the name since the Mk4 ceased production in 2002.

Following the launch of the GT86, the Supra reappeared with a short wheelbase, wide track and low centre of gravity, along with engines ranging from 2.0 to 3.0 litre turbos, putting out up to 382hp in stock form, and through a six speed manual gearbox (or eight-speed automatic). With modern, angular styling and a 50-50 weight distribution, it’s track and sport focused, with a range of GR parts available for upgrades, and special editions including the carbon fibre body kit of the CF, or the limited run of 900 49th Anniversary Editions.
And like previous models, a number of tuners have created 1000hp monsters, including famous names like HKS, who demonstrated their creation at the famous Goodwood Festival of Speed. It’s also used in Formula Drift by three-time champion Fredric Aasbo
