Just three issues feature on the change list with Forza Motorsport Hotfix 6.1 released, but there’s good news if you’ve had problems with a flickering skybox on PC or Xbox, or struggle with positioning decals in the livery editor.
It follows the release of the sizeable Update 6 which revised car progression away from car levels alongside a number of fixes and improvements, so it’s not surprising that the Hotfix is relatively small. Along with decreasing the sensitivity of decal movements and solving flickering skies under certain framerate conditions, it also solves a soft lock which would occur for three specific unnamed cars if their manufacturer paints were changed.
Having launched in October 2023, the schedule has generally includes one major update and one smaller release each month, so you can expect more fixes to arrive in April 2024 as the simcade racing game continues to evolve as a live service game and the first in the series for the Xbox Series X|S.
