Having been released for the PC version of the Kunos Simulazioni racing sim, now the ACC GT2 Pack and Red Bull Ring arrive on consoles from today, February 27th, 2024.
As mentioned for the PC launch, the new DLC pack includes six cars from the GT2 class, which is a new specification fitting between GT4 and GT3 in how they perform on track. It’s aimed at gentlemen drivers with more power than a GT3, but with a low downforce aero package closer to that of the GT4s, making them fun and challenging to drive. The GT2 cars included are the Audi R8 LMS, KTM X-Bow, Maserati MC20, Mercedes-AMG, Porsche 911 RS Clubsport Evo, and the Porsche 935.
Plus you also get the Red Bull Ring circuit located in Spielberg, Austria. Formerly the Osterreichring and A1-Ring, it’s hosted the Austrian Grand Prix for many years, along with the Styrian GP in 2020 and 2021, and the Austrian and Styrian MotoGP rounds, along with DTM, World Superbikes, and the 4 Hours of Red Bull Ring endurance race as recently as 2021. The current SRO GT2 lap record was set by Pierre Kaffer in an Audi R8 LMS GT2 at the 2023 European Series round, with a time of 1:30.443.
Development and new content for consoles are available for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, and the GT2 Pack costs £14.99 across all platforms.
Assetto Corsa Competizione is available as a digital download for the PC via Steam, the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S via the Microsoft Store, or the PS4 and PS5 via the PlayStation Store. And also as a physical edition from Game or Amazon.
