There’s a fairly small list of two changes with RaceRoom Update v0.9.5.36 released, but it’s worth noting if you’re not using a wheel and pedals for your sim racing.
Adding new speed-sensitive settings and a new steering lock default value should improve the handling if you’re using a controller, or even mouse and keyboard. And given that RaceRoom is both free-to-play and one of the better sims for controller users, it’s a worthwhile improvement.
Obviously sim racers will invest in a wheel and pedal setup to get the best and most immersive experience, but casual and new players will have a better time and hopefully be more encouraged to take the step up in the future. And there are a small group of fast sim racers who happily continue to race on a controller.
It follows Hotfix 0.9.5.35, which included a much wider ranging list of changes to the KW Studios sim racing title.
