A couple of very different vehicles arrive as The Crew Motorfest adds two new Year 1 Pass cars, if you’ve invested in the additional content.
The dueo are the 1988 Chevrolet Camaro Big Block 632 Hoonigan, and the 2021 Mercedes-AMG SL 63 4MATIC+. After being playable during a challenge as part of the Hoonigan-themed second season and new location, you can now add the 10.4 litre V8-powered Camaro to your garage, with 1004bhp.
Built from the ground up around the ZZ632 Big Block V8, the process was documented on the Hoonigan Youtube channel before the car was unveiled at the 2021 Sema show. Which meant a deadline of three weeks to put the 867 lb-ft motor into a working vehicle.
The other new car is a convertible grand tourer, with the Mercedes-AMG SL 63 4MATIC+ still offering 577bhp from a four litre bi-turbo V8 and 590 lb-ft of torque. Which means 0-62mph in 3.6 seconds and a 196mph top speed, with a new aluminium space frame self-supporting body structure to lower weight and improve rigidity.
January 2nd also saw a new week start featuring Street Hypercars, including the Under Pressure bundle with the Dodge SRT Viper GTS and Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren 722 Edition, the Custom Bundle with the Audi RS 7 Sportback featuring Pink Edge tyres, Pink Nitro and Pink Underglow, and the Meteor Bundle with the Koenigsegg Gemera.
