Having been around since 2017 Race Sim Studio release two new Assetto Corsa GT-M cars to join their existing selection of modern GT and Endurance mod content.
The new additions are the Aero V10 Evo2, with more than 500hp from the recorded V10 engine, a coded digital display, and the Akuro V6 Evo2 with a turbo engine.
They’re available individually for £3.49, or as part of the RSS GT-M Phase 1 Pack for Assetto Corsa which costs £14.99. The pack includes a total of seven cars:
- Aero V10 Evo2
- Akuro V6 Evo2
- Lanzo V10 Evo2
- Luz V8
- Mercer V8
- Lanzo V10
- Bayer V8
Each of the GT-M cars comes with five or six racing liveries, and you may need Content Manager and the Custom Shaders Patch for lighting and other features to be enabled. But they will be entirely functional with just the base Assetto Corsa game.
And to coincide with the two new cars, the existing roster has been updated with a variety fo improvements listed in changelog files supplied with each car. And you can also download templates to design your own custom liveries, should you wish to use them.
Obviously as mod content, they’re not licensed, so any resemblance to Audis, Acuras, Lexus, Lamborghini or Mercedes cars will be entirely coincidental.
You can buy the RSS GT-M Pack and individual cars from the Race Sim Studios website.
You’ll also need a copy of the Assetto Corsa sim (available via Steam). And if you need to know how to install modded content, check our guide on installing mods for Assetto Corsa, here. Along with all the latest news, updates, mods and esports for Assetto Corsa, here.
