There’s been a slightly delay with the Art of Rally Mobile Version delayed until January 2024 for iOS, and the Android edition following at a later date.
Announced earlier this year, the mobile release is being handled by Noodlecake Games, who said that the extra time is needed to hone the controls, optimise the performance across devices, and add support for more 3rd party controllers.
And along with apologising for the delay, they’ve extended the pre-order discount period over the Christmas holidays. At release the iOS and Android games will cost $7.99, but you can currently pre-order them for $4.99.
It’s a shame for the game to miss out on potential Christmas sales as people look for games after unwrapping their latest phone or tablet. But longterm, it’s always better to release a more polished title than rushing it out.
At launch, the mobile version of Art of Rally will include all updates and content available for the PC and console versions, including the most recent Australia DLC. And if it can carry across the fairly realistic feel and handling to mobile devices, it’ll be worth waiting a little bit longer for the release.
Art of Rally was originally released for the PC back in September 2020 by Dune Casu and Funselektor Labs, and has since been released for consoles. At the time of writing it’s discounted to £10.99 until December 18th, 2023, with the only paid DLC content being the recently released Australia pack – all other additional content has been made available for free.
You can find the Art of Rally Mobile Verstion on the App Store and Google Play. Along with information on the supported devices, etc.
