After Yas Marina was included in the previous release, the new Forza Motorsport Update 3 will add the Hockenheimring when it’s available to download on December 12th, 2023.
Despite being referred to by the name of the nearby town of Hockenheim, the Hockenheimring Baden-Wurttemburg dates back to 1932, and a 12 kilometre triangular route named the Dreieckskurs. It’s undergone many changes over the years, with a 2002 redesign creating the current 2.842 mile (4.574km) Grand Prix circuit, the 2.322 mile (3.736km) National layout, and the 1.6 mile Short circuit, which will all be included.
Along with the new circuit, Update 3 will also include various fixes including for the Driver Level appearing incorrectly, the impact on front and rear downforce when you’re being drafted by another car, and performance issue for PC racers.
New race suits will also become available at Driver Level milestones 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, and 100, and a new selection fo Spotlight cars will be available.

One last bit of information is that Update 4 is expected to follow in around five weeks, some time in mid-January, 2024. And with the other tracks added in each update, perhaps the fourth release could include the Nordschleife? It’s planned for Spring 2024, but would get a great response if it appeared a bit earlier than expected.
