SnowRunner Gets An Update, a Mac Release and Two DLCs

There’s a fair bit of off-road trucking to catch up on, as SnowRunner gets an update, a Mac release and two DLCs all arriving at once.

The Apple Mac version was first announced in May 2023, and is part of the all-platform crossplay support to allow you to drive alongside friends on the PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Switch versions. It also features extensive mod support offered by Mod.io, to match the customisation options on other platforms. On Steam and the Epic Game Store, if you own or buy the game, you get access to both the PC and Apple versions.

Alongside arriving on Mac, Saber Interactive have also released two new DLC packs. The Kenworth W 990 DLC Pack brings the 2023 Heavy-class truck of the same name, with a 15-litre engine and wide range of options to tackle whatever terrain you need to cross. And the Jack of All Treads Tire Pack for £2.69 adds more than 50 unique new tyre and rim combinations to customise your fleet of trucks. Neither is included in the Year 1, 2 or 3 Season Passes, so will need to be bought seperately.

As you might imagine, the game needed an update with all of the new content. And Saber Interactive also included some additional improvements and fixes.

SnowRunner Update 27.0 Patch Notes:

New content:

• [DLC] New truck: Kenworth W990

• Snowrunner now is available on Mac (Steam, EGS, AppStore)

Vehicles improvements:

• Fixed a bug where the anchor of the ‘IM50 Loading Crane’ addon was shaking if it standed on the mud or snow terrain surfaces on the ‘Burlak 6×6’ truck

Co-op:

• Fixed a bug where the truck couldn’t be refueled from the addon or trailer in the coop session
• Fixed a bug where the anchors of the ‘Movie Star’s Semi-trailer’ folded up after reconnecting when approaching the trailer by the Guest in the coop session
• Fixed a bug where the visual model of the ‘Movie Star Semi-trailer’ shook during the execution of the contract by the client in the coop session
• Fixed a bug where the visual model of the ‘Movie Star’s Semi-trailer’ was not synchronized between players in the coop session

Other Changes:

• Fixed a bug where the pause menu could not be opened anymore after players pressed “Down” button in gamepad with opened “you have to unlock the garage” warning window
• Fire sparks visual fixes
• Various fixes in .xml files (Mod Editor)
• Localization fixes

You can buy SnowRunner for the Mac through the Mac App Store, Steam and the Epic Games Store, or the PC through the Epic Games store, Steam or the Microsoft Store as a digital download. You can also find it on the Microsoft Store for the Xbox One and the Xbox Series X|S, the Nintendo eShop for Switch, and the PlayStation Store for the PS4 and the PS5.
