Long seen as a default choice for high-end sim racing rigs, the Heusinkveld Sprint pedals and Handbrake now come in Black, with a matching baseplate also available in the new colour option.
Sprints have been a popular choice for a long time, as they offer top quality precision at a pretty competitive price. Previously only available in Anthracite Grey, they cost €643.63 for a two pedal set, or €762.65 if you also want a clutch. And if you’d prefer them powder-coated in the new Black option, it’s the same price. Obviously some parts, including the footplates, keep the bead blasted semi-gloss metallic finish.
The functionality is still exactly the same, with load cells for the throttle and clutch positions, along with the braking force, custom electronics and the recent SmartControl Live configuration software so you can tweak settings or activate profiles for different cars and classes with a button press. The system originally launched back in 2020, and has been updated and refined since then.
And while a new colour option may not be revolutionary, we have to admit that a good looking sim rig can help you feel more comfortabel and immersed in racing. Especially with the matching Sprint Baseplate Black for €122.98, or as part of the Black Combo Kit, which includes the Handbrake and Shifter Sequential with a saving on buying everything separately.
Speaking of the Heusinkveld Handbrake Black, it’s also a simple colour option for the existing model launched in 2021, with the same load cells and Heusinkveld elastomer springs to provide feel with up to 22kg of force. And it’s also customisable to be used horizontally or vertically, and tweaked with the SmartControl software.
Just like the pedals, you’ll pay the same €336.20 for the handbrake in either Black or Anthracite.
You can buy the Heusinkveld Sprint pedals and handbrake in black from the official website or from retailers including Demon Tweeks. Find out about all of the latest wheels, pedals, shifters and handbrakes available, including from Heusinkveld.
