Having launched for the PC in April 2022 and following a Nintendo Switch release in July 2023, Car Detailing Simulator gets an Xbox console release.
Letting you clean, wash and polish a variety of special and iconic cars as you build your business, you’re able to buy vehicles in poor condition and then sell the restored results to earn money to expand your workshop and available tools. And following the release of the free Track Day DLC, you can take cars from your collection out for a drive to test how they perform.
Obviously the driving isn’t the main focus of the game, so don’t go expecting a full sim racing experience when you hit the track. It’s much more about the journey in taking an old wreck and turning it into a prestiage automobile with the help of a power washer and some polish. With a lot less hassle than doing it in reality.
The new version has been developed for the Xbox One, but can also be played on an Xbox Series X|S via backwards compatibility. So it won’t have next gen graphics, but if you want a cleaning sim based entirely around cars, then it could still be a relaxing choice to chill out with.
The game has been developed by Polish studio Games Incubator, also reponsible for a range of titles including Ship Graveyard Simulator 2, Animal Shelter Simulator, Monuments Flipper and The Shadow Government Simulator. Make of that what you will.
Car Detailing Simulator is available for the PC on Steam, the Switch via the Nintendo eShop, and the Xbox One (and Series X|S) via the Microsoft Store. Keep up with all the latest Car Detailing Simulator news, updates and DLC, here.
