Turn 10 remain busy working on their latest title with Forza Motorsport Hotfix Update V1.1. released just a week after the first big post launch fixes and improvements arrived.
Hotfix update V1.1 focuses on a single issue, which is when players encountered an infinite loading screen when saving a Quick Upgrade in the Builders Cup Intro Series under ‘variable network conditions’. It’s something I’ve encoutered on the PC version at various times, although not specifically during the Intro Series. And it does make me wonder why so much online synching is needed if you’re mainly playing solo career races.
Hopefully we’ll see more of the known Stability issues solved in the coming weeks, particular for the PC version of Forza Motorsport. Along with the player levels displayed, considering I’ve magically shot up to level 929 and back down to level 1 over the past few days. So at this point, I have no idea what level I might be (not that it really matters).
The hotfix claims to ‘help mitigate’ the infinite loading screen rather than promising to fix it, but hopefully it might reduce the times it occurs under other circumstances. Especially when you have to visit the upgrade screens so much if you’re levelling up a car from nothing.
Given that Forza Motorsport 7 was released in 2017, and the latest title is apparently designed to be constantly evolving, we should see lots of improvements in the near future. Including the Nordschleife, which has been is planned for release in Spring 2024.
Forza Motorsport is available for the PC via Steam or the Xbox Series X/S and via the Microsoft Store. And you can also play it via Game Pass for both Xbox and PC.
