The second game in the off-roading series has fully arrived as Overpass 2 launches worldwide for PC and consoles. Developed by Neopica for the first time, as the original was created by Zordix Racing back in 2021, the new title uses Unreal Engine 5 for an aesthetic improvement, along with various claimed improvements.
One area which has been expanded is the vehicle roster with the choice of UTV buggies, ATV quads, and Rock Bouncers, which are specially designed and built for the steepest hillclimbs and obstacles. And four examples have been officially licensed (Venom, Screamin Blue, Rum Runner and Smoked-out) alongside the production machines from manufacturers including Kawasaki, Yamaha, Polaris, Arctic Cat and Suzuki.
Overpass 2 also features five environments (Baja Desert, Johnson Valley, Utah Desert, East Central US and Western Europe), with 31 circuits, and a handful of different race types available (off-road sprints, off-road circuits, hillclimbs, obstacle courses, and closed circuits). And you can choose to take these on in career mode, quick race, the training Academy or multiplayer. Or pick between local four-player split-screen, or eight player online competition.
Two versions of Overpass 2 are available for the PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, with the standard edition of the game, or the Deluxe Edition including a Career Starter Pack and Polaris Vehicle Pack DLC (adding the RZR XP 1000 High Lifter UTV and Scrambler 850 ATV). Both are available separately, along with the Ford Play Rock Bouncer DLC.
Overpass 2 is available for the PC via the Epic Game Store and Steam, the PS5 via the PlayStation Store, and the Xbox Series X|S via the Microsoft Store. Physical editions can be found via Amazon and Game.
