You’ll be able to start delivering cargo to Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia and Solvenia when the Euro Truck Simulator 2 West Balkans DLC arrives October 19, 2023.
The new regions feature a range of different environments to discover and drive through, and SCS Software have ensured all of the road signage and other features use the right language and designs for an authentic experience. It may seem like a relatively small detail, but apparently around 1600 signs had to be created.
Along with the new DLC, all Euro Truck Simulator 2 players will get access to some new cargo options, including cars, vans and caravans on specialist trailers, and aluminium ingots or profiles.
The definition of the Balkans has always been debated, but the peninsula in Southeast Europe is bordered by the Adriatic, Ionion, Aegean and Black seas, along with the Turkish straits. And includes diverse changes between the climate and weather in the coastal areas and mountain ranges.
The price for the new Euro Truck Simulator 2 West Balkans DLC hasn’t been announced, but new map arrives are typically available for £14.99 at launch. It’ll be the eighth expansion for ETS 2 since the game was originally released more than 10 years ago, but that doesn’t include all of the reworks and updates to existing content that SCS Software has released. Or more than 75 other DLC packs covering special cargo, trailers, paint schemes and more.
In addition to the update and new DLC, SCS Software is once again raising money for breast cancer charities during Pinktober, with two Pink Ribbon DLC livery packs available for both Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator. And a new ETS 2 Tirsan trailer DLC pack has been announced for release soon, with six options available from the company.
