New Moza R9 Wheel Base Bundles Announced

If you’re thinking about upgrading your sim rig, then you can get a new wheel set-up more quickly with some new Moza R9 wheel base bundles announced.

All three include the R9 wheel base, which normally costs £409 excluding VAT. The R9 V2 and CS V2 Bundle including the steering wheel currently listed on the site at £239.00, reduced from £269. Rather than purchasing separately, you can just order the bundle for £649. Which actually seems to cost you an extra £1, but does save you a couple of clicks on the online store, I guess?

The R9 V2 and RS V2 Bundle costs £839, for the £409 wheel base and £439 wheel. So you do save £9 by ordering them as a package, giving you the higher end 13-inch round rim, clad in a genuine leather grip, and featuring carbon fibre magnetic shifters, LED rev lights, and a comprehensive selection of buttons, rotary knobs and univerals joysticks.

And finally there’s the R9 V2 and GS GT Bundle for £859, for the £409 wheel base and £469 wheel. The 300mm diameter wheel includes a forged carbon fibre face plate, shifter and clutch paddles, luminous buttons, depressible thumb encoders and a choice of colours for the rev and shift lights. So you do save £19 with this bundle.

So not huge savings, and I’m presuming the price of the R9 V2 and CS V2 bundle might change slightly in the future, as it seems odd to pay an extra pound to order the wheel and base together. So I can only assume there’s been a slight mathematical error somewhere. But if you were about to order the R9 and either the RS V2 or GS GT wheels, then any saving is better than nothing.
