All cars and tracks will be temporarily free to drive and play as a RaceRoom Free Weekend runs until September 4th, 2023.
The racing sim developed by KW Studios is usually free-to-play with a limited selection of vehicles and venues. But most of the 200+ cars and 60+ tracks require an extra payment to download and use, so it’s a great opportunity to try out combinations you might not have purchased. Or to see everything the game has to offer if you’ve never tried it in the past.
And there are some great cars and tracks that you won’t tend to find in many other racing sims, if at all. Historic touring and sportscars offer massive horsepower figures with very few driver aids, and the sim has a longstanding relationship with the DTM and WTCR series, meaning you can choose to race line-ups from specific years over the last decade or more.
Plus RaceRoom also has the typical modern selection of GT3 and open wheel racing cars, with locations including everything from Bilster Berg, Chang International and Circuit de Charade to the Macau street circuit, Ningbo International Speedpark or the Gellerasen Arena. And some of tracks overlooked by other sims provide a fantastic driving experience.
And while the graphics might not be as impressive as some other sim titles, the driving and racing experience is perfectly comparable, including the scheduled ranked events which run throughout each day.
The free RaceRoom weekend will run until the end of Monday, September 4th 2023 while KW Studios carry out essential maintenance on the official store to fix some issues which have occurred over the last month.
You can download Raceroom Racing Experience on the PC for free via Steam. Some additional content is available via Steam, but everything can be purchased via the official game store.
