Details have been confirmed for the World of Outlaws: Dirt Racing 2023 DLC and Switch release, with the season update arriving on August 15th, and the Nintendo console launch on October 3rd.
The third DLC pack for World of Outlaws: Dirt Racing will add three new tracks to the game with Lincoln Speedway, Lernerville Speedway and the Chili Bowl, which have all been previously available on iRacing. And it also introduces the Xtreme Outlaw Midget Series presented by Toyota, which also brings across an existing car from the PC racing sim.
Alongside the new content, there’s also a roster update for the Sprint Cars and Late Models which includes all the new drivers and paint schemes. And PlayStation and Xbox racers will also get access to helmet tear-offs, so you’ll get a more realistic way to clear your vision after a couple of laps of dirt oval racing.
That additional content will actually be included for the Nintendo release, with World of Outlaws: Dirt Racing ’23 Edition costing $49.99 for the Switch when it arrives in October. If you own the PlayStation or Xbox editions of World of Outlaws: Dirt Racing, the 2023 Season Update will cost $29.99, or it’s included in the new World of Outlaws: Dirt Racing Ultimate edition for $49.99, along with all the previous 2022 Season Pass DLC, which added Big Block Modifieds and Lucas Oil Speedway in November 2022, and the UMP Modified and Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 in October 2022.
If you pre-order the Nintendo Switch edition of the game, you’ll get 3 time Chili Bowl champion Christopher Bell as an exclusive reward.
World of Outlaws: Dirt Racing was originally released in September 2022, being developed by Monster Games as the first console release published by iRacing. It’s available for the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S via the Microsoft Store, or the PS4 and PS5 via the PlayStation Store.
