Apparently Reiza Studios have been busy ensuring everything has gone smoothly with their latest major update, as this week has seen the final Automobilista 2 V1.4.8.1 hotfixes released.
Along with the arrival of the Formula Junior, Formula USA 2023 and the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, a wide range of cars received physics updates, and there were various other improvements and changes. As always, a substantial update was followed by various tweaks post-release, with a collection of minor “silent” hotfixed deployed.
Luckily everything was relatively minor, and has apparently been fixed with some minor and “silent” hotfix updates over the last few days.

Automobilista 2 V1.4.8.1 Hotfixes Change Notes
- Fixed inconsistencies with F-USA Gen1-3 physics revisions
- AI improvements in oval tracks
- Minor aero adjustment for Brabham BT52 physics revision
- Minor art updates for Barcelona
- Fixed F-USA 2023 Display second page not working
While the V1.5 physics revisions have been applied to pretty much all of the Formula cars, they might still receive further tweaks, and the remaining cars should be completed in the next update scheduled some time in July.
The changes include tyres, and how the new SETA model was interacting with the previous ISI PMotor system which still provided some values, along with various aerodynamics and suspension developments. And means that the handling of various cars may have been impacting massively in some cases, so if you didn’t get on with Automobilista 2 in the past, it might be worth revisiting it in the near future.
