With both free updates and paid extras, MX VS ATV Legends Season 2 adds new content and DLC as it begins today, Thursday May 25th, 2023.
A free update for Season 2 brings perfomrance improvements, a renovated garage and new menus. If you’re using Pro Physics, you get new physics based wheelies and stroppies, and there are new suspension upgrade parts from Showa, Pro Circuit, Factory Connection and Legends, clothing, and new Monster Energy and Slayco graphics kits.
The first paid DLC has also been released with the 2023 AMA Pro Motocross Championship DLC, which unusually unlocked each track two days before the 12 scheduled events take place in the real world, along with a bonus location at Lorretta Lynn.
More updates planned for MX vs ATV Legends Season 2 include rain, photo and replay modes, more gear, optimising the AI behaviour for collisions and scrubs, and new goggle tear-off animations.
The DLC scheduled includes an officially licensed compound, a Throwbacks Track Pack featuring popular examples from previous games in the series, and seven new DLC packs featuring 2023 vehicles.
A Track Pass 2023 is available to get access to all of the AMA circuit content and Throwback tracks, with a 10% discount until June 1st.
Developed by Rainbow Studios and published by THQ Nordic, there’s already 14 DLC packs available for the game, including the first and second Track passes, the AMA Pro Motocross DLC, for both 2022 and 2023, and individual vehicles from Honda, Husqvarna, Kawasaki, KTM, Polaris, Suzuki and Yamaha.
