The Assetto Corsa Competizione Spa Livery Update has been announced for release on November 16th, adding all the pain schemes from the 2022 TotalEnergies 24 Hours of Spa race, which took place in July.
The 74th running of the race at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, which was originally held in 1924, saw a victory for the AMG Team AKKodis ASP trio of Jules Gounon, Daniel Juncadella and Raffaele Marciello in their Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO, completing 536 laps and finishing 31.04 seconds ahead of second place. It’s part of both the 2022 GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup, and the Intercontinental GT Challenge.
A total of 66 cars entered across the classes from Bronze Cup to Pro, with nine manufacturers represented. And 235 drivers from 36 different nations were competing, with the fastest time in qualifying posted by Antonio Fuoco in the #71 Iron Lynx Ferrari, with a time of 2:16.486s.
So if you want to re-live the race, or just drive in the livery of your favourite current team, then you’ll appreciate the update. How many of the 66 entrants will be represented has yet to be confirmed, but some screenshots of the paint schemes have been shared by Kunos Simulazioni.
What we do know is that as always, the update will arrive for the PC, and will come to console versions of Assetto Corsa Competizione at a later date (PS5 and Xbox Series X|S). And we’ll find out on November 16th if any other fixes or improvements are also included in the download.
