One of the best overhead racing games will get a little bigger when the free Art of Rally Indonesia expansion arrives in September.
The new location will be released on September 22nd for the PC via Steam, and will then appear shortly after for the Switch, PlayStation and Xbox versions. And you’ll be able to compete in six new stages, with two more game soundtrack songs and a new freeroam area, which is one of the most fun and relaxing parts of the game as you search for hidden items.
Art of Rally is developed by Funselektor Labs, and was originally released for the PC in September 2020. Since then, it’s become available for consoles, with a free Kenya expansion arriving in the Summer of 2021 for all editions of the game.
You might not be aware that the Rally of Indonesia has occasionally been part of the World Rally Championship, along with the Asia Pacific Rally Championship. But as you might expect, it’ll be full of lush foliage and vegetation, beautiful scenery and challenging roads to tackle. One course previously teased was the Oreng Valley stage.
The most recent update from Funselektor Labs was a fairly small one to tackle some bugs and issues in June, but along with the Indonesia content, there’s also been a physical release of the game for Switch, PS4 and PS5 organised in partnership with Serenty Forge along with a double vinyl LP of the sountrack.
You can find Art of Rally on Steam for the PC here, the Microsoft Store, the PlayStation Store, or the Nintendo eShop for the Switch here. And you’re able to keep up with the latest Art of Rally news and updates, here.
