SCS Software are pretty busy at the moment, as shown by the American Truck Simulator Montana, Wyoming and Texas previews shared over the last few days. The release date for the upcoming Montana and Texas DLC hasn’t been confirmed yet, but we do know that owners of the Wyoming content will get the improvements for free.
ATS Montana DLC
The main focus of the news and images shared for the American Truck Simulator Montana DLC focus on the industry of the state, with mining still a significant part of the local economy. And as a result, you’ll be able to visit the Signal Peak Coal Mine, which is a notable landmark. Particuarly as truckers play an important part in the running of the facility by transporting materials to fix the huge vehicles used on the site.
And the related Silene Gas Factory and two Talc Factory sites will also be exclusive to the Montana DLC
ATS Wyoming DLC
Released in September 2021, the American Truck Simulator Wyoming DLC will get some new features as part of the upcoming Update 1.45 for the game. Including the “Rodeo Capital of the World” founded by Colonel William F. “Buffalo Bill” Cody. The town bearing his name will include local landmarks, new industries, and a waste transfer station.
It will also bring US-14, which begins at the east entrance to Yellowstone Park and includes fantastic scenery to distract you from safely hauling your cargo along the route, which includes hot lava lakes, geysers and the Buffalo Bill Reservoir and Dam.
ATS Texas DLC
Finally for the trio of previews, SCS Software have championed a potentially overlooked structure found throughout the new American truck Simulator Texas DLC, in the shape of the large water tanks throughout the state. Aside from being useful for storing water, they’re also usually located on the edge of towns and cities, which means they serve as a welcome to the area. Especially with a range of designs and town names displayed prominently in the skyline.
The American Truck Simulator Montana, Wyoming, and Texas previews show how much is in the pipeline for the game. Especially following the recent release of the Lode King and Prestige Trailers Pack.
