You can now download iRacing 2021 Season 2 Patch 4 Hotfix 1, which resolves a crash-to-desktop issue triggered after the last update to the sim racing service. A workaround disabling external LCD displays seemed to work in the meantime, but you can now revert that temporary measure.
There’s also been an issue discovered with the Thrustmaster OneWheel API, and this has temporarily reverted. Apparently the Season 2 Patch 4 update included a beta version for the new Formula Wheel Ferrari SF1000 Edition which wasn’t intended for release yet, and this appears to have been causing issues. Obviously iRacing and Thrustmaster are working to resolve things as quickly as possible.
As so often happens, other tweaks have appeared alongside solving the big issues in the hotfix, and in this case it’s updated setups for the V8 Supercars and some adjustment to track parameters at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
