Spanish driver Coque Lopez wins the 2020 FIA Gran Turismo Championship EMEA final to secure his place in the World Finals of the Nations Cup 2020. He’ll be joined by seven more racers from Europe, the Middle East and Africa regions, with the finalists from the Americas and Asia-Oceania to still be decided.
The FIA GT Championships 2020 Nations Cup EMEA Regional Final took place over three races, with a total of 16 drivers competing for eight places in the world finals. The competition saw Gr.3 cars race at Lago Maggiore, Gr.1 cars at Monza, and finally the sim racers journey to Monza to drive the Red Bull X2019. And you can watch it all, below.
As Coque Lopez wins the 2020 FIA Gran Turismo Championship EMEA Final, the Williams eSports driver will compete as one of the eight entrants from the region in the world finals. The full list going through to the next event will be:

The Americas final will take place on November 29th, 2020, with the Asia-Oceania final on Decmeber 6th to fill the final spots of the World Finals.
This will probably be the last time the competition is held in Gran Turismo Sport before switching to the new Gran Turismo 7 on the PlayStation 5.
