Kunos Simulazioni appear to have confirmed the released date for the Assetto Corsa Competizione GT4 Pack DLC as July 15th, 2020 for PC racers. It’s included in the description of the latest ACC GT4 Pack DLC Mercedes AMG GT4 preview video.
The Mercedes is one of 11 new cars included in the new DLC pack. We’ve already seen the full list revealed and added to our Assetto Corsa Competizione Car List. And videos for the BMW M4 GT4, the KTM X-Bow GT4, and the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4.
Based on the 2016 Mercedes AMG GT-R, the GT4 is powered by a 4.0 litre V8-biturbo with direct fuel injection. Depending on performance limits, it puts out up to 503bhp with max torque over 600N – but will be limited to less than 450bhp in competition.
The aluminium spaceframe is clad in a mix of aluminium and carbon, and houses features including a sequential six-speed gearbox, electronic aids including AMG traction control, and the iconic front grille.
The GT4 version of the Mercedes AMG appeared at the debuted at the fifth round of the 2017 VLN series, two years after the GT3 big brother.
To buy a real Mercedes AMG GT4 customer racing car will cost you around £170,000. Or you can try it out via the Assetto Corsa Competizione GT4 pack, apparently being released on July 15th for the PC, with console versions getting the DLC in Autumn.
You can download Assetto Corsa Competizione for the PC via Steam, the Xbox One via the Microsoft Store, and the PS4 via the PlayStation Store. Or buy physical copies from Game or Amazon.
