There’s plenty coming up for U.S trucking fans. Not only is the new Idaho DLC coming soon, but now you can check out some American Truck Simulator Colorado preview images. There’s no release date for the next state to arrive as DLC, but work has already progressed a long way judging by the screenshots.
Colardo covers an area of 104,094 square miles, with most of the southern Rocky Mountains, the northeastern portion of the Colorado Plateau, and the west edge of the Great Plains.
It’s also the only U.S state which lies entirely above 1,000 metres elevation. Which is probably one reason why windpower is so important to the area, along with preserving the environment. The result is one of the largest wind farms in the nation, and the leading wind turbine company in the USA.
Another industry highlighted by SCS Software, the developers of American Truck Simulator, is beverage production and distribution from a range of bottling plants.
So there is plenty of industry to provide a contrast to the scneic countryside with ancient cliff dwellings, minin museums, and more.
And everything produced will need to go somewhere. Including linking local businesses to the 2,000 or more cargo flights routed through Denver International Airport.
There’s no set release date for the American Truck Simulator Colorado DLC, but you can add it to your Steam Wishlist here. It will follow the forthcoming release of the Idaho DLC, which you can also add to your Steam wishlist right now.
American Truck Simulator is currently available for £3.74 during the Steam Summer Sale, until July 9th, 2020, along with all non-charity DLC discounted by varying amounts.
