Things are gearing up for the next releases of content from Codemasters for GRID. Season 1 saw a Paris circuit and Hot Hatches. And now GRID Season 2 brings Track Day Supercars and the Red Bull Ring.
The Track Day Supercars DLC will bring four new exotic machines to drive, with one available to everyone as a loan car. Plus two more cars available to all players. And everyone will also be able to enjoy the Red Bull Ring along with the option to extend race lengths, and more technical improvements. Ultimate Edition owners also get 33 new events using the new cars and circuits.
The GRID Season 2 Track Day Supercars pack will launch on February 12th, 2020.
GRID Season 2 Track Day Supercars:

The Pagani Zonda Revolución

The Ford GT Heritage Edition

So the good news for all GRID racers is you’ll get access to the Ford, Ferrari 599X Evo and also the Pagani Zona in multiplayer. But you’ll also get race on the famous Austrian circuit of the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg.
The circuit was opened in 2011 following the previous history of the Osterreichring and A1-Ring. Formula 1 returned to the 2.683, 10 turn circuit in 2014, with MotoGP following in 2016. Owned by Red Bull, the redevelopment of the circuit cost 70 million Euros.
The GRID version of the Red Bull Ring will include the full circuit, plus infield, shorter and reverse routes. And every layout will be playable in all in-game weather condition, which should make it pretty challenging at times.
Finally as GRID Season 2 brings track day supercars and the Red Bull Ring, the owners of the Ultimate Edition will also get 33 extra events featuring the cars and track. These will be in a new tab on the career menu, and include two new threads, fresh Showdown events, and the latest Ravenwest Motorsport challenge.
You can buy the 2019 GRID game for the PC via Steam, including the Ultimate Edition, along with the previous DLC. The standard and ultimate editions for the PC, Xbox One and PS4 are also available from Game, and Amazon.
