American Truck Simulator (also known as ATS) was released in 2016 for the PC in parallel with Euro Truck Simulator 2. And if you want to know which vehicles you can buy in the game, check out our American Truck Simulator official truck list below.
While mods are available for American Truck Simulator, we currently list the seven truck manufacturers and 10 different models officially licensed for the game, as they’re easily available to all virtual drivers. And they’re developed in conjunction with the real manufacturers, ensuring accuracy. We’re big fans of modded content, but it can cause some conflicts with game updates and version changes, so we’ll only list and recommend any unofficial add-ons if we’re able to thoroughly test them.
The sim currently includes trucks from Freightliner, International, Kenworth, Mack, Peterbilt, Volvo, and Western Star, which should keep you busy for a while at least.
Latest update: Added the new Volvo VNL 300, 740 and 860 which arrived in a free May 2023 update.
