The World Rallycross of Abu Dhabi took place for the first time as the 2019 season opener, and now DiRT Rally 2.0 adds the Yas Marina Rallycross circuit.
With a 1.2km circuit length split between 67% asphalt and 37% gravel, the track features plenty of challenges, including a fast Joker section. It actually uses the Grand Prix track for the start line within the stadium section.
So if you like tight chicanes, dangerous kerbs and tricky narrow sections, then you should enjoy the Yas Marina Rallycross circuit. It’s a fairly swift addition considering the first race was held at the Abu Dhabi track around the time DiRT Rally 2.0 was being released.
The track can be used in the following condition combinations:
Stage Conditions (General):
- Daytime / Clear / Dry Surface
- Daytime / Cloudy / Wet Surface
- Sunset / Cloudy / Wet Surface
- Sunrise/ Clear / Dry Surface
- Dusk / Cloudy / Dry Surface
- Dusk / Cloudy / Wet Surface
Stage Conditions (Time Trial):
- Daytime / Clear / Dry Surface
- Daytime / Cloudy / Wet Surface
As part of DiRT Rally 2.0 Season 3, you’ll automatically get Yas Marina if you have the Deluxe Content 2.0, the Super Deluxe Edition, or the Year One Pass. Otherwise you can also buy it as standalone DLC for the PC, PS4 or Xbox One via the respective games stores. Although apparently it will delayed until mid-October specifically for Japan PlayStation owners, for some reason.
If you don’t own the game yet, there’s a Dirty Rally 2.0 special promotion on Steam for the PC version, with 60% off the standard and Deluxe editions, or 40% off the Super Deluxe edition.
And there’s good news for console owners, with Game running a special offer on the PS4 and Xbox One Day One Editions.
You can also watch members of the Codemasters team demonstrating some onboard action as DiRT Rally 2.0 adds the Yas Marina circuit:
So are you exited about Yas Marina? Let us know if you’ve tried the circuit out yet, and what you think about it… And don’t forget qualification is still going on for the DiRT Rally 2.0 World Series until November 19th, with Rally and Rallycross disciplines to choose from.
