Need for Speed Payback Official Story Trailer

With the November 10th 2017 release date approaching, check out the new Need for Speed Payback official story trailer.

The 23rd installment of the Need for Speed series is once again developed by Ghost Games, who previously created Need for Speed Rivals and the 2015 reboot. Having gone back to the import and tuner street racing culture, Need for Speed Payback goes further into the Fast and Furious style world.

Rather than the anonymous player of the previous title, you’ll play as three different characters to get revenge on a cartel known as The House. There’s Tyler “Ty” Morgan, Sean “Mac” McAlister and Jessica “Jess” Miller. Or, the Racer, the Showman and the Wheelman for some slightly more imaginative nicknames.

The supporting cast includes your mechanic, Rav Chaudry, a fixer named Lina Navarro,  and Marcus “The Gambler” Weir. And you’ll find out what happens to them all with a single player experience which is playable offline. As well as being able to tune and customise your car in one of five classes; Race, Drift, Off-Road, Drag and Runner.

Whatever happens, the cut scenes are already more realistic and enjoyable than the Need for Speed 2014 movie spin-off.

So you’ll be driving around the fictional open world of Fortune City, being chased by the police, and sharing your best results via the Autolog. And making your way through various themed Street Leagues.

Need for Speed Payback is out for PC, Xbox One and PS4 on November 10th, 2017 as a standard edition. You’ll get to play from November 7th, 2017 with the Need for Speed Payback Deluxe Edition. And from November 2nd, for EA Access and Origin Access Members with the Play First Trial.
