An MXGP2 Motocross of Nations Trailer, showing the new inclusion of the legendary off-road competition. The Motocross des Nations, to use the original name, started in 1947 with a win for Great Britain. Combining the top competitors from each country across 500cc, 250cc and 125cc classes, the MXON has seen the USA dominate since 1981, with 13 wins in a row until 1994, followed by 9 more titles since then.
The winners lists are full of the greatest motocross riders of all time – the U.S winners alone include James Stewart Jr, Ricky Carmichael, JeremyMcGrath, Jeff Emig and Bob Hannah. Belgium has seen Stefan Everts Marnicq Bervoets and Roger De Coster among others, and Swedish winners include Bengt Aberg. The last British win was in 1994 with Rob Herring, Paul Malin and Kurt Nicoll.
And now you can have a go with MXGP2 and the new Motocross of Nations mode.
