We say ‘hello’ at OnlineRaceDriver to our new team member, Ben, with the first of his XBOX 360 game videos. Our initial meeting gets off to a noteworthy start as our new contributor, muscle car appreciator and virtual racer takes us for an introductory look at GRID Autosport.

The Mighty Mini
Ben takes us to an early stage of his GRID Autosport career through the sights and sounds of a hectic Classic Mini Challenge race. There’s elbows aplenty in this event as he absolutely makes the most of the modest engine power available, pushes the limits of adhesion and does a little rubbin’ along his 4-lap path from the back of the grid!
The Mini Challenge track included is the short 1.5-mile Club Circuit layout of the fictional Autosport Raceway. A low-mileage encounter typical of this stage of the game, it’s a single-race competition in the Touring Class ‘Classic Mini Cup’.
Fairly new to circuit racing, Ben’s impressive progression during the race unfolds against the ‘Hard Difficulty’ AI with no assists enabled.
Nice showing in that mini race – elbows aplenty indeed…I never made it to first in that race GOOD JOB!

Ben paid a visit to Texas in a very different sort of machine and put in another energetic-but-fair appearance!

can’t wait! Ben’s one of the best in our Musclecar League – love to have you guys run with us but I guess the time difference is pretty harsh….
Yeah, I looked at your race season results a couple of days ago and spotted Ben’s name up there. He’d tell me he’s not so fast…!

Re. Forza – personally, my randomly odd hours mean that the timing could work sometimes… but I’m not on Live at the moment. It could be something we could plan for with Team ORD though.
