Inspired by news of F1 2014’s October arrival, we thought we’d take a look back to earlier games in Codemasters’ ‘official’ series of the Formula One World Championship.
F1 2012 – The Sights of Turn One
Before stepping to F1 2013 and then rolling back the clock to earlier years, we begin with F1 2012 on the PC and a lap from a free practice session for the Brazilian Grand Prix.
Beyond F1…
Given the long racing history of OnlineRaceDriver staff, it would be a shame to stop there and so we’re building plans to move beyond these first F1-related comparisons.
That will see us widen the scope to many other games from earlier generations as we also expand our Complete History of Racing Games into a more substantial list and video-supported guide.
Dipping into the gaming archives and showing the features of older games might surprise a few people that have either forgotten or are unfamiliar with anything earlier than the Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 era!
