Popular Forza Motorsport 4 series organisers Virtual Motorsports has announced Series 3 of their NASCAR championship will start on September 20th, 2013.
It’s a dual-timezone event which takes places on Fridays at (EU Time Zone) 15:00 CDT / 21:00 BST / 07:00 AEST / (US Time Zone) 20:00 CDT / 02:00 BST / 12:00 AEST, and runs on a small amount of tracks that replicate the NASCAR experience, including ovals such as Twin Ring Motegi, Sedona Raceway Park, Sunset Peninsula Raceway and Indianapolis Motor Speedway, plus the road course at Infineon Raceway. In total there will be 8 weeks of racing with a series finale on November 8th, 2013.
You’ll race both the forward and reverse track layouts at some of the circuits, and there are two championships to compete in – a Drivers and Rookies championship, plus there will be a separate EU and US Championship. It’s sponsored by Turn 10, and prizes include in-game credits, gift cars and car packs. The top 10 Drivers and Rookies winners will earn a share of the available credits, overall championship winners will get a unicorn car or car pack, and all drivers completing 7 out of 8 races will be entered into a draw for another unicorn car.
