The original Test Drive Unlimited was an enjoyable game which combined racing with an MMO-type structure which allowed you to drive around Hawaii.
The sequel is out at the end of October, and a newly-released video teases the appearance of the Aston Martin One-77.
The One-77 first appeared at the Paris Motor Show in 2008, before being fully revealed in Geneva in 2009. Only 77 are being made, and deliveries start in October, around the time Test Drive Unlimited 2 hits the shops. It has a full carbon fibre monocoque chassis, a handcrafted aluminium body, and a 7.3 litre V12 engine with over 700 hp, with a strengthened version of the DB9 gearbox.
It’ll cost over £1 million, but for that you’ll get around 220mph, and a 0-60 time of 3.5 seconds or so.
All-in-all, it’s a pretty exclusive car, meaning that it could be a lot cheaper to grab a copy of TDU2 – Test Drive Unlimited 2 – pre-order via Amazon.
This time the action takes place in Ibiza, with over 2,000 miles of road and tracks. Which could make it the perfect chill-out from more hardcore racing games…
